This Stingray Special Bass represents a modern adaptation of the classic model, integrating contemporary components and craftsmanship to meet the demands of today's musicians. Crafted from select hardwood, the body retains the iconic Stingray contours, featuring dual cutaways and a contoured belly for superior comfort during play.

The neck of this Stingray Special Bass, fastened with a four-bolt plate, is crafted from roasted maple, treated with a specialized heating process to enhance its durability and resilience against warping. The fingerboard, made of ebony, boasts an 11-inch radius, 22 frets, and dot inlays, maintaining the instrument's traditional aesthetic appeal.

Fitted with a custom Music Man neodymium humbucking pickup, this bass delivers a powerful and articulate sound, characterized by deep lows and clear highs, reminiscent of classic Stingray bass tones. Its electronics feature a versatile 3-band active EQ and a single volume control.

I love this item. The size is perfect, as I prefer something less bulky for my work desktop. Using it on the lowest setting keeps my drink nice and hot in a cold office. I use a heatproof glass teapot with this and its a good fit. It keeps my tea hot throughout the day, so I am able to pour smaller amounts of drink and take my time sipping it throughout the day without worrying that it will get cold. At point I almost forgot that it has an automatic shut-off safety feature when I noticed it was off. So that is a good feature to have. I highly recommend this.

The hotplate itself gets hot enough on its highest setting where it would burn your finger if you left it one there for more then a couple seconds. However when it come to what mug you can use to transfer that heat to your drink, this WILL NOT work with just any old ceramic, metal or glass mugs. You absolutely need to have a perfectly flat bottom on it. If the center of the bottom of the mug does not make direct contact with the very center of the warmer, it will not transfer heat. So straight way plan of spending another $15 to $20. Amazon has some available with good reviews all be it not a very big selection. I'm giving this 4 stars because the description needs to be very clear about this and its not.
