Performance Specifications

  • Operating temperature: -40° to +80° C
  • Duty cycle: Continuous rating to 50° C Derate linearly to 70% @ 80° C
  • Temp. rise: 5° C at full rated current (mount vertically for optimum cooling)
  • Voltage drop: 0.7V @ 50% load, 0.9V @ full load

Note: These battery isolators are not compatible with self exciting alternators. Please consult the manufacturer of your alternator if you are unsure of your configuration.

I bought this set to replace a stainless steel set I have after the nickel in the stainless steel cookware starting leeching into my food and causing some pretty severe reactions. I made sure to read the instructions that came with this ceramic-coated cookware before use, and made a note to not heat it on high - I have cast iron for that anyway. I appreciate how light weight this cookware is, and how easy it is to clean with soap and water - I don't put my cookware in the dishwasher. So far it appears to work well making sauces, heating vegetables, cooking pasta, but I do have to plan a little extra time to get water to boil, of course. One thought for the designers - it would be helpful if the lids fit more than 1 pot. It would be nice, for instance, for the large pot lid to fit the large skillet for sauces that need to simmer and/or reduce for a while. Overall, this cookware is an extremely good value and I'd purchase it again.

I'm not sure of how much safer the ceramic is vs teflon pans, as ceramic is not a standardized thing. Overall i'm pleased and great value for the money
