跟秋天的食材相性很好，不僅是凍飲，常溫或熱飲也會使味道岀眾，尤其旨味。
作為宮城縣最早釀造特定名稱酒的酒藏，萩野酒造大約於30年前已經比其他酒藏更先進地引入冷藏倉庫，成為現在高等級別的宮城縣酒的先驅者。
最近更於日本酒之日，亦即是眼鏡之日10月1日發售兩款純米酒「眼鏡專用」以及「萩之鶴貓LABEL」，以開拓清酒愛好者的新市場。
